This 12" x 6" grille is designed to fit a duct hole measuring 12" x 6". The front end frame is 13.6" x 7.6", intended to overlap the sidewall or ceiling opening. It's important to always measure the width first, followed by the height, to ensure you order the correct size grille.
Before installation, gather a screwdriver or drill, tape measure, pencil, and any necessary tools to access the ceiling or wall opening. If the opening already exists, do not open the product bag until you've confirmed the dimensions match the grille size. If the opening needs to be created, measure and mark the 12" x 6" dimensions on the ceiling or wall.
To install, remove the grille from the packaging, take out the corner protectors, and locate the included screws. Place the grille into the opening and secure it by inserting the screws into each frame hole, using the screwdriver or drill. Do not fully tighten the screws until you've aligned the grille horizontally and vertically to ensure it's parallel with the opening.
Once properly aligned, tighten the screws thoroughly to prevent the grille from falling. If installing in a wall, ensure the blades are in the horizontal position.
